Hi I’m Penny from Penelope Jayne. I’ve been officiating epic life moment ceremonies for over 20 years. Being truly independent mean exactly that… your celebration your way with no red tape, restrictions. No boring seen it all before ceremonies you’ve already been too. And absolutely no off the shelf templates of legal jargon or over whelming religious verse.

I work with all my couples closely to really get to know them. So that I can tell their love story their way. I want to get the absolute best from you so that your ceremony is jaw droppingly amazing. Every story is different so why would you want the same old ceremony as everyone else? All my ceremonies are custom fit, so totally bespoke and no two are every the same.

I can guide you on ways to make your day unique to you, from a family orientated ring warming ceremony through to an elopement with just the two of you. We can craft a special mix of what really matters to you as a couple. So, if that looks like tequila shots down the aisle, including a hymn and having your four-legged friend bring the rings then let’s go for it!

WOW! Where do we start? Firstly, everyone needs a Penny is their lives!
We came across Penny purely by accident, we had a legal ceremony planned several days before our actual wedding due to Covid but still no celebrant despite us talking to several, we just hadn’t quite managed to find someone who we connected with . When we came across Penny, we loved her instantly, she is warm, kind and friendly, we knew she was the perfect match for us and the relaxed and funny atmosphere we wanted to create.
Throughout the process, Penny was amazing, she was helpful, thorough, personable and on hand whenever we needed her.
The ceremony she created was perfect for us, it was full of love and it felt like she’d known us forever. Everybody commented on how amazing, fun and relaxed Penny made it.

Penny you made our dreams come true

We can not thank Penny enough for making our ceremony what it was, it was truly amazing and so so personal to our journey. We clicked with Penny as soon as we met her and knew right there and then that she had to conduct our wedding! We completely trusted her and opted to not hear our ‘story’ beforehand, but to hear it alongside all our friends and family for the first time on our wedding day, there was not one ounce of worry – we just knew Penny would deliver, and deliver she did! It was a fantastic mix of sentiment and humour, it was both touching and personal and in a nut shell it was just so brilliantly us! Penny added such a sparkly to our day and we could just not have imagined tying the knot without her. THANK YOU SO MUCH! We’ll be forever grateful.

Where do I even begin?
From the minute we met Penelope we just knew we had to book her to share our special day with us.
Firstly we chose her to be our celebrant- Our ceremony was indeed something special and it was all down to Penelope, we had people coming to us all day saying the ceremony service was something they had never witnessed, it was magical.
We also decided to hire Penelope to be our day coordinator, she and her team were again truly incredible they couldn’t do enough for us.
You can tell she loves this job- She truly made our day even more magical.

Seriously, if you are thinking about getting married- look no further for a celebrant.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Penny for many years and so when world events made our wedding in Cyprus look a little vulnerable, I messaged, and we met up for a coffee. THANK GOODNESS WE DID! There were so many things we had not considered and we can honestly say- if Penny had not come along and took charge- it is likely our wedding would not have got there….Both my husband and I are busy people with busy family/work/social lives and used to turning things round quickly- hence leaving some of the finer details a little bit late. Penny had to put up with a very last minute bride and groom- 4 hours before the wedding- she was still having to chase us to write our speeches .
Penny has been fantastic- from organising the legalities/details/photos/services/party/flowers etc etc etc both here in the UK -AND in Cyprus- including flying over to Cyprus and conducting our service there! And what a service it wasPenny pulled our service together with such professionalism and skill- one would have thought we had rehearsed many times. Her way with words -just perfect- so beautiful…. not a dry eye in the house The care, before, during and after was first class. We can’t thank you enough Penny- you are amazing
